djane is set on going, and if she moves to michigan with me then i may very well go to the peace corps with her, seeing how she is willing to do that for me i would be willing to do that with her... anyway, whats it consist of? do i get to watch tv? NFL football? or would i have to have tapes sent to me... FOOTBALL IS PRIORITY ONE!!!

If you go into the peace corp you have to do it because it's something you REALLY wnat to do. Your assignment will depend on your skill, ie what you can teach 3rd world people so they can survive. You will live just like and with the people you are helping. That means you will have nothing and sleep on dirt floors. Football! you won't even have access to a tv and maybe not even electricty or running water.

Alomost did it back in 92.
Why - I wanted to see Africa.
Very exspensive to travel there.

Why not -
only get paid 800 a month
two year deal
live out in the middle no where ( why I was going ) but didn't want to spend two years no where.


My girl was going with me.
Times were a little tuff and jobs for young guys with no documented skills were hard to come by.
I guess we didn't go because I got a job that workout for us.
