Thats my sentence above. Let me explain. This is not just limited to the United States but other places as well. The main problem associated with the above statement is this: Its so rare today that you come across an individual that understands the phrase "learn to think for yourself". What does this mean? It means one must combine simpicity along with common sense. Simplicity being the main issue. Who here lives a hurried and busy life? Do you ever have quality time with yourself or others? Are you completely caught up in your job? Does it own you? Everything around us works against reordering and simplifying our lives. Our world is cluttered and complicated. God did not create it that way. Depraved, restless humanity has made it that way. Advertisements have one major goal: to make us discontented and dissatisfied with who we are and what we have. Why? So we will acquire what they offer. Not only do we acquire...we keep, we accumalate. Repeatedly the TV, Govt etc feeds us the same bullshit. Many succumb and are trapped their whole lives. This is sad, many are like puppets on a string that will never be cut because the puppeteers have filled there heads with so much bullshit that the possiblity of freeing themselves is like seeing Johnny O gang banging 40 women, its just not going to happen. Learn to think for yourselves folks. Create your own era, your own culture, your own tradition. Start something new and unique for yourself. I'm sick of tired of meaningless conversation, fake smiles and the "actors" I meet and come across on a daily basis. Be real, down to earth and let the fake shit go.

The statement that you speak of relates to the words directly before it. It is not a fragment.

And even if it was a fragment, by definition a run-on sentence is a sentence nonetheless. (although gramatically incorrect)

Stay on track and you'll get it by your senior year. Nice try though. More than most 19 year olds would attempt.
