He is alive. I'm not sure how old he is. His real name, believe it or not, is "Warrior." He had it legally changed from "Jim Helwig." i heard he wanted a ton of money and Mcmahon was not having any of that. He couldnt act(talk) very well and that was what Mcmahon and the WCW wanted!---Just what I heard, not sure if its true though! | ||

He is alive. He trained my town of Macon, GA before moving to Atlanta and turning to "escort" services in order to finance his bodybuilding career. He was a regular at Backstreets for many years. He stopped bodybuilding because he had a falling out with local promoter Doc Johnson (?) and was afraid his career would be black listed. His chest was very weak and he couldn't bring it up. He went on through wrestling until he was sentenced to probation in Arizona where he lived for many years opening a gym and such. I am not sure what happened to him after the WCW thing, but that was the first traveling arrangement he had since his probation was up | ||

VERY much a regular. I met him when my brother brought him home. No joke. Jim was like "Hey, I remember you. You used to train with Mike Manderson at Ultimate Body Fitness." Needless to say, he and my brother were both mortified. | ||

Understandable. No offense to the gays out there but there are some guys who a lot fellas don't hear are gay (or bi). I think Warrior was one of them. Well everyone can reast assure in the Stone Cold is 100% straight. I think. | ||

Proof. I don't know what proof to show you. I know people in the business. I've worked with WCW. I've talked with several pro wrestlers who live here and the one passing through town. Jim Helwig is the only Warrior there's been. And he is alive. Kerry Von Erick (now deceased) played him a few nights when Helwig was unavaible back in his WWF days. Not for nuthin' but I know what I'm talking about. Sorry I don't have a pic of me and him with a recent copy of the newspaper to show the date. | ||
