The only descartes I know was a mathamatician. What you be talking about?

------------------
At my signal unleash hell.
Strength and Honor
The frost, sometimes it makes the blade stick.
Death smiles at us all. All we can do is smile back.

one in the same... he was a "profound" philosopher, first and foremost.

He had some interesting ideas for his time, however his body/soul dichotomy was a little off.

The pineal gland? I don't think so.

well, with regards to decartes meditations, his arguements only hold as far as "I am a thinking thing", he then introduces what he believes is a proof for god which is not succesful and was found to use faults in the english language to make it appear as if the premises actually lead to a valid conclusion.
I was with him up until that point, but after an invalid conclusion, I can't really take the rest seriously. And he was supposed to be such an amazing philosopher,, most of this stuff I've already thought up when IW as 14.
