Thanks for the input dread...But the sad part is I was tested for alllergies and my Doc. said I have no known allergies and that I just have bad sinus trouble. I have taken claritinD with some success and emitrex-pill form. I was thinking off getting the shot form. Anybody else? ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

yeah, suffered with that for years. my doc gave me a years prescription for allegra-d but it doesn't help. alieve sinus and alka seltzer cold plus helps me to tolerate it. i have a friend with the same problem, she's a nurse practitioner, and she swears by echinacia. personally though, i'm not into all the herbal hype. hope you feel better. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've had sinus and allergy problems all my life. Until this past spring Allegra and Nasonex worked fine. However, for some reason things got worse last April and I had to go to the emergency room twice because I couldn't breath. For some reason the Allegra and Nasonex stopped being as effective as before, they helped but my nasal and sinus passages were never completely clear. I did an internet search an found the following site: www.ent-consult.com/nasal_irr.html They sell a product called the nasal irregator, which is an attachment you use with your WaterPik. I was scepitcal but desperate so I found a drug store in my area which stocked it and gave it a try. After two weeks of use I stopped taking the Allegra and after about a month I didn't need the Nasonex. I haven't had a probem since. You should seriously consider giving it a try. I've had a sinus infection for the past 2 months and I'm finally on antibiotics and they're not working. I've been on them for 2 and a half weeks and I'm still congested. No headaches though. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
