I was just thinking about you and thought I'd make a shout out.  And I have a question......you can join the Navy for just 2 years right? I did a speech on the Navy last year and I could have sworn they had 2,3,4,and 5 year programs but one of my teachers today was saying he thought you had to join for a minimum of 4. Is he correct or am I?------------------     | ||

not 100% sure, but from my experience it would be a minimum of 4 yrs. In the Marines, the minimum is 4 yrs. Since technically the Marines is a branch of the Navy, I would assume it would be 4 yrs for the Navy also. | ||

I like that when chesty and shaggs was all up in each others grill. Never heard that one before. yeah varni bro what would you do in the Marines? Other than look like some sweet candy. All enlistments are for a minimum of 8 years. Some have specific requirements for active duty time that can be 4-6 years with the rest done in the irr or ready reserve. And then even after your obligated service you can still be called back at any time deemed necessary. Marines, when it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed overnight!
