This is one hell of a battle taking steroid and trying to keep hair. Thank god for procar. The shit grew back hair i lost from some a-50 and finaplex untill it got yanked out. need to get some more of that wonderful drug. if it was 10 years ago it would be keep hair or take juice now I can do both but it is a pain in the ass. any of you bros feel me on this?By the way Im not blad at all but could be real easy if not careful.     | ||

yes it works mp5 took 28 procar at a fourth a day for about 3 or so months and it grew the shit back! Warring it will make you shead 3 times as steroid for about 3-4 weeks but then it will stop. Big Buck not to sound like a fruit but did the mr clean look a few years ago and i do not look good with short hair. | ||

Proscar is cheap and one pack can last you like 90 days or so.. only really good for test though, and useing it with deca is a big no no. Nizoral I have tried, and doesnt seem to do much if anything, some people swear by it. I got a healthy head of hair but am trying to keep it that way hence the proscar, nizoral, I have yet to try saw p. but I might try rogaine and flutamide as well.. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board) | ||

I MEAN YOU SHEAD LIKE A HUSKY IN THE SUMMER! the dht dosent have anything to bind to so testosterone flows feely in the body for awhile until the body gets use to it. aslo will get acne kind of like being on high doses of androgenic steroids but it goes away. saw pammeto will not grow hair back in my experence but will slow sheading. | ||

First of all GLP, at under 20 you are too young to be using AS.  Sorry Johnny, I'm a busy guy lately. Do a search though, I'm sure you'll find a lot of stuff. Here's some I got real quick.
There is also such a thing as Nizoral tabs. Nizoral tabs should never be used as they are quite liver toxic and generally bad for your health. Nizoral shampoo does not get into general circulation and is perfectly safe. I have been told by a few Dr.s who specialize in hair loss that Nizoral works even better when it is alternated every third or fourth day with a selenium based shampoo such as Head and Shoulders. Hopefully some research to look specifically into Nizoral's effects on hair loss will be carried out in the near future. Mooney feels Nizoral is particularly effective at stopping the hair loss caused by certain steroids, but I can't say whether or not this is true." | ||

I'm doing the test only + proscar thing for my next cycle. Tren really did a number on my hair, even with the nizoral. It was friggin scary...my hairline at the temples was always itchy and red. | ||

Well to all you guys with full heads of hair i'm insanely jealous. At 24 my hairline has already receeded a great deal. AND I HAVEN'T USED ~AS~ AT ALL. Just one of those lucky bastards who's gonna be sporting the highly reflective surface I guess. Losing it faster then what i've been losing already has been my biggest fear about plunging the needle since nature seems to have already taken out a contract out on my locks. | ||

I agree with the saw palmetto. I understand it contains the same compound in proscar. It is also good for your prostate of course. I have used it for the prostate health, but have not lost any hair to speak of from my a.s. use. Good luck! | ||

i am 20 and have never used gear but in just the last year i lost A LOT of hair at the temples and it thinned a little on top. my temples were always red and itchy, what causes this. I used to bleach my hair really light blonde could that have anything to do with it? is there any way to get it back, does the proscar always regrow hair or could you just lose all that hair the first 3-4 weeks with it and then just stay steady? | ||

Proscar is that finasteride stuff from Merck I've heard that certain AS react badly with Propecia but then propecia also has finasteride just like proscar...but i think one is marketed for prostate problems and one is for hairloss...they basically do the same thing with the same ingredients tho...likewise saw palmetto also helps with the prostate...anyone who knows more about this please respond | ||

Firstly, Propecia and Proscar are THE SAME THING. Propecia is 1mg and not covered by insurance. Proscar is 5mg and covered if you claim you want it for prostate. Secondly, because of the duration of those drugs in U you do not have to break the Proscar into 1/4th. It is not necessary. Break 'em in half and take one every other day. Yes to all bros it will regrow hair. BTW cut me some slack on the youngen shit I am sure alot of vets started before they should have. But you are right should have waited. I have a few friends that started as young as 15 and let me tell you they were some freaky looking 15 year old with full gottees. And most of them are not short. except on the tallest is 19years old 6,2 and 235 been juicing for the past 4 years. | ||

I dont know if it always regrows hair but I was getting freaked out buy the amount of hair i was losing on it,then i read some people say it made them lose more hair than they had to began with. But one day ALL the sheading stopped and 3 months later relized it had been regrowing hair. Thank god for the stuff. baldness sucks | ||

I have used propecia before and it did stop fallout for a good while even after i stopped taking it. However I never lost hair because of propecia...I would think that the same would be true for proscar since as some have pointed out its the same thing just a higher dose. Are you sure its not the ~AS~ that is causing the fallout? | ||

Finasteride (propecia or proscar)would be great to take with test. If you are not on AS you would only take propecia (1mg) or split the proscar into 4 (1.5mg/ea). Note that finasteride may have some side effects such as a decrease in libido (more common) and gynocomastia (rare). Saw Pawlmetto is, like finasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. That means that it can also be used with testosterone and most other AAS, but should not be used with the nandrolones (Deca, Laurabolin, etc.). | ||

Propecia largely prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT via the 5 alpha reductase enzyme. This enzyme is also converts nandrolone (deca) to dihydronandrolone (DHN). DHN has poor binding to the androgen receptor whereas nandrolone binds tightly. Therefore, you want the conversion to DHN to take place. Taking propecia with deca would prevent that. |
