If these bed-wetting liberals would make prison-life more like prison, and less like a weekend vacation, I think guards/wardons, etc. would be more equipped and more able to "keep 'em inside' the walls... Also, I think prisoners are more likely to escape from the south, esp. TEXAS, since the chances of them getting executed are a bit higher than other places... Damn, those 2 paragraphs almost sound contradictory, but they're really not... ------------------ | ||

I'm from Huntsville, TX (where death row is and the execution chamber) Good thing about living there was, if any of the prisoners escaped, they sure as hell weren't going to stay in town!!! | ||

Yeah, that's pretty funny, madbomber. I think the conversation at this point is three layers deep in speculation. Speculation that the south can't keep prisoners locked up, speculation that the escapees will go north, and speculation that going up north even makes good sense. So at this point the topic is not even coherent. Northerners be happy that you have southerners to pick fun at...cause if you didn't then you'd see other northerners much more clearly and you would probably stop laughing all of a sudden. | ||

Well it's good to see some Texas people from the area I'm from...Badkins21 I graduated from Klein back in 98. The Woodlands mall isn't that bad. It's much more enjoyable then driving out to Willowbrook or the newly Revamped areas of gunspoint oh I mean Greenspoint mall....But give it 7 more years I bet the Hoodrats will be taking over that mall as well Considering how crappy the pay is it's amazing anyone takes jobs at all working in the prisions...I don't believe in Reabilitation as a whole is working for us...Some of those here that have been or are in law enforcement might support me or not on this subject. This state happens to be tough on crime if your caught. Like anywhere else if you can't buy or trick your way out then it's your problem and the tax payers problem who has to pay for your care. I would hardly compare Texas to Alabama...Yeah we are tied together by history, but Texas hardly is comparable to the rest of the south. I think what we have in common is Southern Hospitality, and I can't think of much else. | ||

I've got news for you, Texas is not part of the South. It maybe geographically located south of most states but it has a history separate from the states of the Confederacy. I'm not a rebel flag toting redneck but I hate when people call Texas a southern state. Is New Mexico or Arizona a southern state? I went to college with a bunch of people from Texas and they are definately a breed of their own. They do have some fine women though. Many are loud and annoying but they have some hot bodies. giantset ------------------ | ||

lmao @ mb... They caught the Alabama 6 after two days! Just two days, those boys from bama are just plain butt stupid. All 6 walk into a frickin convienance store to buy food. Idiots... At least the Texas 7 were able to avoid the law for a month... Jebus..... ------------------ |
