MAYBE THIS TOPIC IS BROUGHT UP SO MUCH BECAUSE NO ONE PERSON HAS THE ANSWER, AND BECAUESE ALL WHO DISPUTE IT HAVE WEAK ASS REASONS WHY. SURE BLINDLY FOLLOWING A BOOK SEEM'S REALLY FUCKIN STUPID, IT DOES TO ME, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THAT TAKES SOME BALLS TO HAVE FAITH LIKE THAT, MORE SO THAN BEING THAT DICK THAT SITS BACK AND REFUSES EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. FUCK WHAT SCIENTISTS PROVE. THATS A WEAK ARGUMENT. SO IS TELLING ME WHAT IS RIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN IN A BOOK. I DONT READ ANY OTHER BOOK AND LET IT RUN MY LIFE, SO WHY SHOULD I LET THE BIBLE? THE WORLD AND EVERY LIFE FORM ON IT HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR A COMMUNAL CONCISENESS, MEANING EVERYTHING WILL ONE DAY COME TOGETHER SPIRITUALY AND MENTALLY TO FUNCTION AS ONE WORKING LIVING ORGANISM. THAT IS GOD. WE ARE GOD. MAYBE IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED AND WE DONT KNOW IT YET. MAYBE THERE IS ONLY ME, AND YOU ARE ALL IN MY IMAGINATION, OR VICE VERSA. THERE IS NO HEAVEN OR HELL ONLY THIS, SO OPEN YOUR EYES TO OTHER POSSIBILITY'S. 2+2 DOES NOT = 4 IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT. ------------------    | ||

Oh man, If I had a dollar.... It takes a hell of lot more BLIND FAITH to beleve that all of a sudden one day BOOOM, Big explosion and the universe was created. Just like that. Over millions of years the earth and other planets developed. Then one day life came along. Maybe I'll buy into the THEORY that man evoled from little single cell ameoba, when some one call tell me how we went from NO LIFE to LIFE. I'll accept the idea that animals have the ability to adapt to their surrondings, but at one poing we went from NO LIFE to LIFE. Thats a pretty Huge jump to make. Like I said it takes a lot less faith to belive that we where created by a all powerful super being.... alot less. | ||

Utilitarianism is how I base most of my important decisions. I rest little faith on the bible, rather in the fact that I can work with the physical world around me. This may not be making a lot of sense, but really you can never come to one single concrete decision concerning religion & the afterlife, so I say "why bother?" I dont think i'll go to hell if i dont read the bible and follow a perfect jesus-like lifestyle, and maybe hell doesn't exist? So many questions, with no answers, so whatever happens - is going to happen and i'll deal with it as it comes. i'm happy with my argument. | ||

And you also say (so many questions, with no answers) if this is truly what you think than obviously you don't read the Bible at all, everything you put in your post is answered in the Bible or else the Bible clearly discredits your arguments. I think what you should of put instead of I rest little faith on the bible, is that you rest no faith on the bible. If you did believe or rest any faith in what the bible says you would not have any of the arguments or unanswered questions that you do. | ||

Hey Angel, at times like this I glad to call myself an atheist. B/c I know I don't have to associated with people like you who have to SCREAM or scam people into listening you. You call everybody that doesn't have that kind of faith narrow minded when in fact you're the one that is narrow minded. Have you ever thought about the possibility that there isn't such a thing as spirituality.
