Just curious... Initial attraction is a must -- that is what brings two people together. However, that attraction only lasts so long. If there is nothing more than looks to an individual, more than likely any type of significant relationship is unlikely to occur. Personality, morals, values, etc are what become important and make a person truly "beautiful." As the old saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I truly belive in this idea. Therefore, the concept of the "total package" is not unrealistic. Without a doubt I would choose the "total package" over the individual who has nothing more than supermodel looks.

An honest question deserves an honest answer. I have been with both. One of my ex's was a fitness model. She was beautiful...fake tits, big pouty lips, hair down to her waist, The girl I have now is incredibly awesome. She takes care of me like nobody. She is pretty, but not fitness model pretty. She actually has some brains along with a degree that she uses. She is taller than me (I'm 5ft4) and was not too interested in bodybuilders, for she thought we are all vain. In retrospect, I have the total package. Brains, beauty and feelings for the girl. She is now even working out with me and taking her dreaded protein powder no less. If I had to do it all over again, I never would have dated my ex.....Maybe for the sex.....but that's all. I guess that means I like the second choice and would never deviate from it. I think in the next couple of years I am going to marry this "Total Package" of mine. Good luck to you and I hope my opinion helps! | ||

SD....Don't try so hard. When I got dumped by my ex I was a waste case. I moped around for about a year. I dated easy girls because I had to "Teach her that I could still get girls." It sucked because all it did was make me pretty empty. I then went through a lull where I practically gave my self Carpal Tunnel from having sex with myself. That was 96. I have been waiting and finally Michelle stumbled in my lap. It took me 4 more years to find somebody that had the "Total Package" I talked about. It was worth the wait. Another thing, I hope that you don't do this, but don't rely on what other people say or think to provide you self-worth. That comes from within. Believe in the person that you are. Don't try so hard. I am sure that somebody will come along that will sweep you off your feet. The thing is, you probably will not even be looking for him.
