Hey everyone! To all that compete, what is your music?? I need to start getting my music ready for Sept for my first show but I'm having a hard time thinking of things!!

I need some ideas and I'm curious what everyone else has!

LOL, do you all know that song, "Super Freak"? Would that be perfect or what to mix in with something else? LOL. I'm a 20/F bodybuilder who will probably weigh in at around 130-135lbs! LOL Let me know what you think!

AJ

First contest, "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses...2nd, "Higher," by Creed...3rd, "What If?" also by Creed...

Whatever you pick, make sure it 1)pumps you up, and 2)will most likely pump the crowd up...AC/DC is always a good choice, or any other fast rock/metal, like Van Halen, etc., etc.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, ATTEMPT TO HAVE "SOUL" IF YOU'RE WHITE AND DON'T ALREADY HAVE IT!!!

My first few contests I posed to sort of a beach music / fast r&b song called "Be Young, Be Foolish" by the Tams, but my friend finally told me it sucked.

So the last couple of years I have posed to some stupid shit from SoundGarten. I don't remember the title, but you can't hear the words anyway. It was safe and sounded like everyone else's music.

THIS year I am gonna try something very different. I found a beautiful, dramatic classical piece that has just the right tempo, builds, etc. (Stop laughing!) No really, it will work! It is from Tchaikovsky's (sp?) Swan Lake. (I told you to STOP LAUGHING!!)

AJD - mix a couple of songs. That way absolutely no one else will have the same music!

I mix my own music. For my last show my routine started with "More bounce to the ounce" that old disco tune - then into "give it away" by the chilipeppers.

I am fortunate. I have a lotta soul for a white dude (light skinned brotha).
