Here's a real simple method. Just take a pot and lay the meat down and add some lipton onion soup mix, add some water, and put it in the oven and wait untill the meat is cooked all the way through. You can brown the meat first to speed things up. The soup really tenderizes it and it tastes awesome. If you ground the meat, venison burgers are pretty good. You can replace grounded hamburger with venison burger and use it in any recipe that calls for burger. 50/50(half venison half hamburger) is good too.

They way I cook my steaks is, I don't know if you've ever heard of Lawrys Marinade, but I take a little over 1lb of venison cut the steak so it is about 1 inch thick. (sometimes a little over 1in) Now take all of the pieces of steak you have and with a sharp knife score both sides of the meat in a diamond pattern, at 1-inch intervals, making the cuts 1/8 inch deep. Then take your meat put in in a Zip lock bag and dump in half a bottle of Lawrys Herb & Garlic Marinade. Its best if cooked over a grill. But you can Broil it also. Very tender, makes you wonder why you eat beef.

Hey, a good recipe is to cut the meat into bite size pieces and bread them in flower and spices. Fry them in oil till brown. then you mix one cup red wine, and one cup water. add mushrooms, and onions and let it simmer for a couple hours. Then you take the meat and vegies out and dish them over egg noodles. ------------------
