Most comments and replies that I see in regards to another members pics being posted on this board are humorous in a manner that makes the person commenting look like the dipshit that you most likely are. The funny thing about this board is how everyone is such a expert on pics, certain development, adobe fucking photoshop, etc etc. Lets take D1734's pics for example, at the age of 17 and natural this young mans pics look quite impressive. Why would he resort to adobe photoshop to add this or that to begin to impress some people on here? He could care less. Actually, if you knew anything about pics whether its lighting, angle, the camera, shaved body, tan body etc etc. you would know that a pic can do positive and negative things to a person's physique. I have seen many pics of Pro's where the pics make them look smaller than they actually are and I have also seen the opposite as well. Do myself and others a favor and know what your talking about before you comment, again it only makes you look more moronic than you already are. I read that entire thread of D1734's pics and the majority of the replies were negative. Give D1734 and others on here some "Constructive Criticism" and some respect as well. I would like to add that most of the negative comments in his thread and other threads where pics were posted were usually coming from people who have the credibility of a cloned, siberian mountain antelope. I agree! Some assholes have to degrade others just to feel better about themselves. I wish I had the opportunity to start traning as early in life as these kids are. I know I would be much further along, we should help them out not put them down. | ||

right on havoc!!! i've been reading the same bull the last few days! give these kids a frickin' break!!! their 16 and 17 years old! what the hell do you expect? i was 120 lbs at 16! at least these young guys are doing something consructive with their free time! they could be drinking, raping one of our family members, or robbing stores! back the fuck up people, and think about what you say before you speak! ------------------ | ||

Apparrently I'm an asshole........let me tell you why. I noticed that a lot of people have pics, that like mine, were real dark straight from the camera. "to add this or that to begin to impress " NO-- NOT ADDING--revealing. I certainly wasn't critisiing D1734's pics If you reread the thead I wasn't the only one to imply they were too dark--the guy looks great--and did brighten them on his own.

I think we should at least caution d1734's use on a year-round basis as he has stated and to also be good bros' and warn him about the use of gear at his age. The risks outweigh the benefits right now. | ||

I missed the thread that Havoc is talking about, but I would tend to agree with the essence of what he's saying. Obviously, you don't want to pander to people and tell them they look great and they don't need to improve (unless, of course, they're the one person in the world it's true for), however, there is a right way and a wrong way to offer comments. First of all, just like mom said, if you don't have anything nice to say -- don't say anything at all. It takes guts to post a pic and one thing that most people are sensitive about is how they look. Just tearing somebody down in a malicious manner can be very damaging to some personality types. This is (primarily) a bodybuilding board. People come here for help. If you spot something that somebody can work on, offer that suggestion in a CONSTRUCTIVE way -- don't be a dick -- how would you like it if somebody looked at how you look and we're a total dick with nothing nice to say? Also, because it is primarily a bb board, most guys, while they have weaknesses, also have strengths. If a person post their pic, there is probably SOMETHING nice you can pick out about it in addition to constructive criticisms. Remember, it takes seven positive comments to offset just one negative comment. Think about that.
