i was bullshittin with a guy about a little hottie in my gym, and the fucker says "dude you know she is single too, cuz chicks workin out alone are single".... i asked why he said that and he explained himself by saying that if they had a boyfriend he would be training with her. so then he continues to say how he is going to go after her cuz she MUST want a guy.     | ||

unless he knows me, the only reason to say hi to me in a gym is to be a weasel....im there to work, not to make friends. Im the exact same way about my job and for some strange reason lots of people like me. Of course, I would wait to see first if he wanted the time or something...Im not THAT presumptuous. well, the guy in question who said it is not a "weasel"... regardless... why do people just assume? all the guys in there are working out with a guy or alone, and nobody gives a fuck if they are single or not, "we" never assume anything about guys... just the trick population. regardless, i am 100% against even making buds in the gym... like kat said, there to WORK! | ||

That doesnt even make sense.You go to the gym to train ok got that ..I agree..but you dont talk to anyone there before or after you train? then you come home and get on the net to talk with people about your interests the gym is the only place that has like mined people with similiar goals to better owns self. your missing out my friend.you could meet new people and learn new things and make it easier on youreslf to accomplish your goals. | ||

dude, be reasonable. Im talking about when you are on the weights and some doofus comes up to you with the sole purpose of harassing you. If you open the door for me I smile and say thank you. If someone at work tries tomake small talk when Im in the middle of doing something they get a curt "Im busy I'll talk to you later". How is that being hard to get along? | ||

I have many people ask me questions in they gym. Most of the time they do it between sets or as I go to the water fountain. Most of them are dumb question, but these people have no idea and need some help. If I am on a heavy squat day I have my head phones on for about 30min and nobody ever talks to me, but I think they understand when the heavy squats are over and the head phones come off and I go to hack squats or leg ext. or something else it is okay to say something to me between sets. NOW I have had idiots try to tell me I am doing something wrong and that does not go over very well. Kind of like my 750lbs quarter squat story. | ||

but seriously Kat I know what you mean. A trainer came over to me while I was stretching sheasked me some Q's about dieting for a show.she is competing in her first show in 4 months .we talked for awhile and then she went for a run. Now I dont think she was trying to get in my pants and I wasnt thinking "dude this chick wants my jock"No...we had a nice conversation on dieting.Its just nice to talk with people that have the same interests. Maybe will work calves together..you know made a friend today it feels good.

So, big boobies do it for you!!! Seriously though, my fella & I both train in the gym but not together unless we're on holiday. We both have completely different goals and therefore train differently, he shouts & screams to be a 'monster' whereas I pant & sweat to keep fit. | ||
