I wrote about my depression the other day. asking about zoloft.. .turns out I suffer from a mild case of anxiety... On the box of the serzone.. i have all the symptoms that are listed... i think this will be my miracle pill.. any experiences?     | ||

The serzone will numb you out a little (which I didn't find pleasant). I took it because it supposedly didn't negatively effect sex drive as much as prozac and zoloft. This was not true in my case. When I stopped taking serzone I also got withdrawl problems....It felt like mono for about 5 weeks. Apparently this is very common when people stop serzone. Just be aware of that, cause the withdrawl period really does suck. | ||

i took serzone for about six months. hugh's right, it'll numb you out especially the first 2-3 days you start taking it. you will feel off in a different world for a little while. i didn't have any sexual side effects and it didn't really affect my sleep very much. hope it helps you out. ------------------ | ||

I gave Prozac a try and I would say it helped. I tapered off after awhile because I didn't like being on an anti-depressant. Little moody while tapering off, but generally OK. (except for the crying jag when they buried the hampster on Everybody Loves Raymond -- but if you tell anybody about that I'll deny all knowledge...  )When I tapered off (I was on 40 mg pills), I spaced it to one e0d, then every third day, then every fourth day (prozac is very long-lasting) and then just went off...
