This show, while mildly entertaining, use to annoy the fuck out of me. It was the same story over and over. Some poor old bastard who owned an amusement park and wanted to retire would dress up like a ghost and scare away all the customers so he would have an excuse to go out of business. Then the gang would go in there and bust him. What the fuck crime was being commited? If anything, they should have been locked up for trespassing. And that annoying ugly redheaded cunt Velma, I'd love to see her stripped to her bare essentials then thrown to a bunch of lesbian shot-putters...    | ||

the only thing that really got to me every episode was fred's handkerchief around his neck. i couldn't ever figure out whether or not he liked girls and if he did why was he not all up in daphne's guts. ------------------ | ||

I heard a theory once regarding the show, something about all the characters representing Ivy League schools. Fred, supposedly, represents the preppiest of them all, Princeton, while Shaggy is Brown (the most tripped out and herb-friendly IL school). Daphne is either Cornell or Harvard, and I don't know about Velma. Peace PS This theory makes a lot of sense when you puff on The Heavenly Crop. | ||

The Ivy league school theory is close but the charectors are actually depictions of the 5 colleges in Amherst and Northhampton MA. The writer of scooby dooo was from this area. Fred- Amherst college ( If it was not so small it would be Ivy league, very snooty) velma ( I think thats the chicks name, the one with glasses)- Mt holoyoke all girls school where a dike might go Dafney-or the the one that like fred- Smith college like amherst college but all girls. shaggy- U-Mass at Amherst -enough said Scooby- I am Assuming is Hampshire college but I can't make the connection.
