Butterflies etc are fleeting and euphoric feelings are chemically induced by intense positive feelings toward someone. Do you love your mom? Does that mean you get butterflies or can't stand to be away from them for too long?

It's putting your heart in someone else's hands and hoping they don't tear it to pieces. True love knows no limits, no boundries. Love is getting that flutter in your stomach when you see your "someone special" - even after years of being together.

A quality person can possibly push you higher, the problem is, the higher you rise, the harder the impact is when you fall. All of the times that I've liked a girl or had even remotely any feelings for her, it would reflect in my daily life.

I'd be less lazy getting up in the morning so I could head to school to see her. I'd work harder and more efficiently to get more money so I could take her out some day. I'd even smile once in a while (those who know me know that I don't do that). Then, either she lets me take her out 4 or 5 times, spend a hundred or so on her, then gives me some bullshit excuse or just starts avoiding me, OR she just rejects me right from the get-go. Higher? Yeah, I was high. Now what am I? I'm a fucking DIRT TORPEDO - speeding down from the height and preparing for impact.

*bam* Impact made. Apathetic lifestyle activated.

You are correct......I've been there too.

The challenge is finding one that will not cause you to be a "dirt-dart", after bringing you up to that level.

Is there anything a woman can provide for me that the aforementioned things cannot provide? After a great deal of thought (about 12 seconds), I must answer "no."
