I dont know, Im adopted, but was originally given a last name that could be either English/Scotch or Irish in nature...I know the mother was of United Kingdom origin (which part no idea), the father I know nothing, but its doubtful it was British cause I used to be dark as sin when I was a kid..got pale as I got older. | ||

Almost pure German. Great Grandfather was a full blooded Cherokee, only deviation from German in my family, so far. I don't think I'll be getting w/ a German girl soon though, cuz I'm not going to live in Germany. Ah well, traditions were made to be broke I guess...BTW I have blonde hair and brown eyes. | ||

My mothers side is scotish and irish and my fathers side is scotish (or something white like that) and spanish. My grandfather is almost all spanish and his wife was scotish. I look very much like my grandfather, our baby pics look exactly the same, my father looks basicaly white...its quite weird. | ||

100% Hungarian origins. I was born in the US but went off to school not knowing a word of English. Mom is white as a sheet w/blonde hair and blue eyes. Dad is nearly olive-skinned with black wavy hair and dark brown eyes. I guess you all can see who I take after, hehe. ------------------ | ||

Well this confirms what i had red and had me surprised a bit some time ago... until 1920 most of the new arrivals in America were made by germans... although the english arrived there earlier in mass... then the swedes, norwegians and the irish started to arrive... the matrix of the american population in the early 20th century was nordic, although there were alot of africans in the south and some mexicans... hence the americans were the tallest people in the world, about 5"8 average in that time... then the italians, hungarians, polish, russians... later huge numbers of mexicans and cubans... some chinese and phillipine (sp?): much shorter people... now the average american is about 5"9 and all the EU countries have higher averages, with the dutch on top being 6"0 average... This is not a racist post don�t take me wrong, i simply am very interested in anthropology... I live in a EU country (although i�m not european) and i notice the kids are always taller than their parents... is that so in the USA? How tall were your fathers and grandfathers? | ||

Father My dad is 100% Italian, my mom 100% Irish. I inherited more of the Italian features though. Year long tan, brown hair, brown eyes, the 5 o'clock shadow coming in. I look like the younger version of my dad. Our licenses got the same mug shot style too. My brother got more of my moms genes. Light skin, green eyes. Height: My dad is 5'7", mom is 5'4". I'm about 5'8"-5'9" and my bro [older] is about 5'9"-5'10". I got 2 uncles at about 6'0"-6'1" and an older cousin, 20, at 6'2". Stature: My bro and cousins and pretty thin no pec muscles really and rather thin all around. 2 wear wife beaters, and act like thugs but thats a different post in its own. I on the other hand am built more like my dad, uncles and grand father in regards to having a chest [not bad for now] and have the potential to grow. Big Buck, watch yourself I got your number. English. But that goes WAY back. My ancestors came over from England in the early 1600s (!), and I don't know of anything else mixed in...OK a tiny bit of Swedish. That's may dad's side. I dunno about mom's side, but I think they also were English from way back. | ||
