As you all know, Natymike has been on quite a roll of late old school-- http://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000091.html upset central-- http://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000120.html who could forget-- http://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Archives/Forum10/11-2000/006695.html and most recently-- http://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Archives/Forum10/01-2001/009482.html I only post a pick when I am VERY confident in that bet, and I have already layed down 3 or 4 bills on it. As for the Superbowl, I have been researching this matchup for the past week and have come to the conclusion that--- The game is too close to call, the two teams match up very well, and althought I believe Baltimore will win the game, it will not be by much. Perhaps by a field goal or a touchdown, and when you believe the game will be this close, it is not wise to bet on it. I would take the UNDER over any team, however, the under is set pretty low so the only bet I am considering is a special proposition that my sportsbook has up-- -----FIRST SCORE OF THE GAME WILL BE------ --Touchdown-- I strongly believe that touchdowns will be scarce in this game, and both of the teams will be pleased with a field goal right off the bat, I doubt either team will go for HUGE gains. They will make short passes and run the clock. Eventually they will be stopped by the 2 fantastic goaline defenses. So if you are going to bet on this game, take the Prop-- First score of the game will be--- personally I feel that the first score of the game will be-- 70% FG shit, you gotta take that 70% chance yours in sports, Natymike ------------------     | ||

I am gonna say that the OVER would be hit in this game, that O/U score is too low not to be an OVER. There will be several TD's produced by each team whether it is Special Teams, Defense or Offense as well as FG's by each. I would go with: OVER & Any Score First And take the Giants & 3.... Since I cannot make this bet myself this is what I think the outcome would be. ------------------ | ||

well, the way i see it this game can be a blow out or close... if one team gets up its gonna force a non throwing team to come from behind... neither is capable of that... or they could play nfc east ball and grind that bitch out, which they both should... i think the giants have more balance and more.... GULP... WEAPONS???? hahaha, i said that. ya, the giants are gonna win this game. i dont think the secondary of the ravens is gonna be able to stop the giants passing game... OH MY GOD, who is talking??? what the fuck??? ya, giants by 10, but i would prefer the giants to tie.... new rule, the superbowl is cancelled if britney doesnt show her tits... the nfl should instate that rule right now! | ||

im on baltimore now. the defensive line of the ravens will push back the giants offensive line like they were on rollerskates, which should rattle kerry collins bigtime. hes not a pressure quarterback. i was thinkin the under but since its already at around 33 that scares me and i cant stand playing unders, but i dont see the giants putting up anything but field goals, maybe a one lucky tuchdown. so im playing a 4 star pick on baltimore minus 3. watch. this is the best defensive ubit ive seen in my life. they will be up for this game. | ||

Let's look at the facts first, the Giants have a better offense than the Ravens, but the Ravens have a better defense than the Giants so those two kinda cancel each other out, that leaves this variable which is often the difference in the superbowl., who ever makes the fewest turnovers and whose special teams makes the biggest plays. in the superbowl there's usually one play that is the difference or stands out, and a lot of times that happens within the first quarter, my pick is Ravens 10-6 | ||

that was a superbowl??? at least i used to watch the niners roll up points in a good way... kerry collins has just become a terrible clutch qb... god damn, what was he doin? he did not get picked on a "great play" once... they were all shit throws... even his completions were sick. and sehorn, what the fuck??? how do you let a guy by you 4 times??? he is lucky to only have two caught. the ONE person i was happy for was jermaine lewis... i like him... ray lewis mvp? hahahaha, 7 tackles... please. they should have had the d share it or give it to collins... so, are there any odds on collins getting drunk tonight? | ||

had a nasty car insurance bill that came in this week , so i didnt have the extra funds to bet the ravens but i did call it see above before a day or two before the bowl so. i cashed in on a square at work for two bills. |
