The purpose of the lower colon is to take the remaining fluid out of the processed food. (trying to be descrete here) When you're "plumbing the depths" you're mixing up the lower solid with the higher liquid. So some of the liquid comes out, often under pressure. Nothing to worry about, though a bit gross and often show stopping. That's why we cleanse/douch first. Clean it all out. There are "shower snakes" that attach to the shower head that make this easy.
