The other day I was buying some groceries after work and I was standing in line behind this guy and while the woman was ringing up his stuff, he pulls out a syringe and a vial and proceeds to fill it up, tap out the air, and then bam, inject it into him. it was in his stomach, so I'd assume it was insulin. just thought it was a funny or odd time/place to be doing that. he didn't wipe down the area ahead of time either to disinfect it. the whole point of using isopropinal (sp?) ahead of time is to clean the skin of things so that you don't then shove them down inside you. that is how tetnus comes about - mold spore getting shoved in there. not rust. yeah. ------------------     | ||

If he felt an insulin crisis coming on, getting his injection was more important to him than any public embarrasement. If he hadn't he could have passed out on the floor of the store. You're right though, never seen that. | ||

No, it was Lutylase. They were going on a road trip and he thought he'd better take a shit so they wouldn't have to stop twenty minutes up the road. | ||

I didn't mean to say it was a public embarassment, I just thought it interesting - actually the first thing I thought was "holy shit, this guy is shotting roids right in front of everyone" - then I came back down to earth and remembered that most people don't do them and there was likely some other reason behind it... like medical condition. ------------------ |
