i was having a debate withm my partner over what medium we should use in our flood and drain setu. We've started using perlite(i think, its a tiny , light ,white material) but i find it really dusty and it seeps through the pots and has blocked the system a couple of times. I want to use the large brown stones, they have worked well for me before but he insists the drainage is way better with the small perlite, what do u guys use and what would you use in a flood and drain setup.??     | ||

ROCKWOOL, ROCKWOOL, ROCKWOOL Easy, cheap, clean and it works every time. General Hydroponics hydro fertilizers work perfect with rockwool and you can use very small rockwool cubes to support large plants. at least thats what ive heard |
