You don't have to tell me about it. When I'm not in the red light district i live in the D.C. area. Most of the people here are protesting, there are police and military guys than there are civilians. What posseses people to go and celebrate because their candidate won?? I voted for Gore (lesser of two evils) but you better believe that I wouldn't be running around in the street celebrating if Gore won. What a bunch of losers. | ||

Who cares anymore. Respect the office if you don't respect the man. Personally we are better off with him in office than someone who believes he was ordained to lead the country. I am more interested in the state of the union address than anything else. | ||

Yeah I agree chesty. We have a new president and we need to respect that and get on with it. The Gore supporters didn't look much better out there protesting what took place a month ago. I am also looking forward the the state of the union address. | ||

State of the Union Address?!!?! What the hell do you expect him to say that you haven't heard already. "I am going to try and bring the country together..." Bunch of crap. The state of the union and even political campaigns in general are full of hot air. They are all about blowing smoke up your ass. People think that when you get a new president that everything is going to change. Nothing is going to change. How much changed when clinton was in office?? Despite what the republicans say, NOTHING CHANGED!! Yeah the economy was great, but that has nothing to do with the president. Prediction: G Dubya is going to have 3 grammarical mistakes during the state of the union. | ||

Average murders per 100k people in counties that gore won 13.5 average murders per 100k people that bush won 1.5. this ought to tell people something and if gore would have carried his home state he would be president. give bush a chance. | ||

well if you believe in the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion, you would have voted against Bush...he only has to appoint supreme court justices who will rule that abortion is unconstitutional | ||
