When I do my BF's, (which is the same type job youre looking for) i put

"To utilize my skills to acheive and exceed company objectives"...looks good to retail people who usually have no idea what utilize means.
BTW....some months my boy makes more than me and he gets min wage plus commission.

good luck my friend from the land of roo.

Use words like team player ---leadership qualities----Mention amounts of money or percentages that you have had delt with in the past----Things like you have managed a retail department and in 6 months watched a 32% increase in profits under your supervison! List shit like under your supervison, employee turnover was at an all-time low for the company! They like shit like that------

Does one really need that on a resume? I don't know if it's considered necessary.

I do a fair amount of hiring myself and on the resumes I get, I don't even pay attention to that, if it is on there. It is always some canned bullshit that tells me nothing. "Objective: A position in a fast-paced publishing environment that utilizes my fine arts background."
