or could it be something else??? I come in to the gym today and I can tell out of the corner of my eye some girl took peeks at me. I was thinking about talking to her, but it just feels pure bird because that's what other guys were doing to her, and I didn't want to seem like them. I just did my workout and left, oh well, maybe I'll see her again... ------------------

Do you know how much time and anxiety would be avoided if guys didn't worry about what girls thought and just talked to the ones they were interested in? Just a thought...and don't interrupt her workout.  | ||

uh dude, hate to break the news to you, but between sets what do you do? you look around, right? maybe she was looking around and you just happened to look at her when she was looking your way... get over yourself... besides, the gym is NO PLACE to interrupt someone... and if you wait for her after working out then your a bit nutty. | ||

I am in for the same kind of stuff. This gal has had her eye on me for a while and met her at the entrance. She is denifately interested, but she is 1/2 my age. What in the fuck is wrong here? Oh alright, she and I have been flirting around on the gym floor for a little while. So I will have to get her name because it was just a casual glance when we met and talked, and while I am at it her ph#. She is gorgous, perfect in some ways I cannot describe a 10 in my book, no rings either on either hand. She always comes in alone. So there you have it. I will just have to wait to see her there this week or next, but wait, I have surgery Shit my oldest bro would be jelous!!! Ha, ha, ha.... Yaw!!! | ||

dont talk to them, leave them for guys like me who talk to any decent looking girl that breathes. Out of ten girls, one will usually be a potential date. Hit on 20 girls a week, thats eight dates a month. If your single, this can be a very good thing. | ||

Man, this thread has jinxed me bigtime. There is this hot brunette who keeps on following me around and just staring for the last week. My training parter thinks it is hilarious and keeps on ragging on me to talk to her. So today it was even worse than usual. I was doing squats, and usually am one of the best squatters wherever I train. Anyway, this short butch woman appears out of nowhere, takes up the good squat rack, and proceeds to full squat 300lbs for reps. Not to be outdone in front the babe, I threw more plates on my bar and proceeded to squat till I felt real dizzy and got sick. In fact, by the time I hit deadlifts I had sorta lost my capacity to speak the english language and was drooling on myself (Meanwhile butch woman is leg pressing 900 lbs for sets of 10) After my DLs I felt like I was going to puke, so beelined it to the parking lot. On the way out one of the trainers said "If it makes you feel any better, that woman who was squatting holds multiple world records in powerlifting. It did not make me feel better, I spewed in the parking lot anyway  | ||

Frack - understandable. I get nervous too. But then I just take a deep breath, stand up straight, walk over to her and say hello. If I do this 20 times, I may get rudely dismissed or laughed at once. So what?? Her loss. But more often than not, she'll be friendly....and whatever happens from there will simply happen from there. Here's the thing: women like attention from men just as much as we like it from women. You know the feeling when a good looking girl comes over and talks to you - it makes you feel good, right? Likewise, women like it when a guy comes over and talks to her. What they generally do not like is if you are unclean, wearing dirty clothes, or just incapable of having a decent conversation, As long as you are not any of those things, she'll hear you out. You may not be the man of her dreams...and you may not take her home that night. (If she's quality girl - one you want to see again - you won't.) Just remember this: You were yourself before you saw her, and you will be yourself after you talk with her, no matter how it goes. | ||

Just because a chick looks at you or says hi doesn't mean she wants ya to talk to her. It just means she's not a snotty bitch, which is a good thing. Just cause she's not wearing a ring doesn't mean she's not hitched. I never wear my jewellry to workout, especially rings cause they dig into your hand when your lifting. Hugh Gellatts - too funny, lmao Pussyfootin' around ain't turning her on. If you like her, talk to her. And if she actually laughs in your face, laugh right back at her and call her a bitch. You don't want the snot anyway. There's no reason for a chick to turn a guy down like that, even if he doesn't have a hope in hell. I don't know but I think if you lock eyes with a girl for a few seconds, then she definately wants to talk or know more about you. It's all about 'the look'. Sometimes a girl will GLANCE at you for a second, and sometimes they give you THE LOOK. Once you learn the difference, it is pretty easy to mac it to any girl that gives you the look. Because you know she is sweating you. This is the best way a girl can let you know shes interested. | ||
