power is all important. not just political power, but intellectual, monetary & social. Our laws are considered very unjust by other societies standards. and visa versa. up until 100 years ago, child and spousal abuse were legal and acceptable. Now it is the opposite. the point is, people are social creatures. if you have enough power, you can change society and give birth to a generation of people who support your agenda. Right now selling herion is punishable by 50 years in prison, 100 years ago you could buy it at the corner drug store. | ||
