The more you do it the more you enjoy It up to a certain point. Rigth now I do not do any because I am bulking and I hate doing it. Later in the summer I'll probably do some running which I love. Absolutely love it. I cannot run, so I hop on my bike and go-go-go. I get so lost I'll end up doing 90 min sometimes. I also like the kickboxing classes at the gym. Kind of motivates you being around 30 hot sweating women kicking, grunting and yelling. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Absolutely detest it and avoid it as much as possible....I used to love it in high school because it was the only thing I could do...they made you do this "circuit" thing...run around like a maniac, then situps, then run again, then pushups, run again then pullups.. Love it. It makes me as high as a kite - free drugs. No kidding, there are times when I'm doing a sprint and I feel like I'm flying. Sometimes I even get chills going up my spine - well, maybe because I'm visualizing myself in the Olympics outrunning Micheal Johnson! yeah right! ![]() Cardio gives me lots of energy. I limit it to 4x week, usually about 30 minutes a time. Keeps my joints happy and makes me want to come back for more. I don't have as much energy on non-cardio days, but rest is a necessary evil. I prefer interval training (I live for the sprints) but I change it around, treadmill, elliptical, rower. I don't believe that long slow cardio is better for fat buring. For several years, I've seen certain people in the gym who go from one cardio machine to another (30 minute rule on each machine). They'll do about 3 different stints, at least 90 min total (maybe even more, since they're doing it when I get there AND STILL doing it when I leave)! They rarely if ever lift any weights. Sadly, their bodies have not changed for the better. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I ALWAYS hate it, when I first start doing it.(I don't do it year round). The more I do it, the better I like it. Especially when the Cardio-ONLY crowd can't understand how it is possible to burn 500 calories in under 20 minutes. Hehehe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
