Some people have offered to help me and my family out monitarily after my girls died. I appreciate this, but instead if you would cut and paste the following letter and forward it to everyone on your email list I would appreciate it very much.

I was late sending them a check out because I hadn't been home much because of the twins, and I called them and asked them if I sent a check out that day would it be OK. They told me that it was no problem. Two weeks went by and my check hadn't cleared and I asked them if I was going to get a disconnect. They said that there was one schedualed for 12AM on Wednesday morning, but the check would go thru. He also told me to check back on Tuesday, and if the check wasn't thru yet to pay by credit card to stop the disconnect. I called yesterday and inquired about my check. They said it hadn't posted yet, after three weeks. I paid with a credit card because I didn't want a disconnect. I woke up this morning with no service. I called costomer dis-service and the woman told me that it takes 72 hours to process a credit card. Even tho two people at her office hadn't told me that. The lady informed me that it would now be 48-72 hours to process the credit card PLUS another 48-72 hours after they received the payment to reinstate my service. I was livid. I asked to speak to her boss and he was a spineless man that just listened and wouldn't say a word or help me out. I asked him if I could get a free month of service since his company screwed me royally and he wouldn't do it.

On top of this I have referred 8 people to their service. You are supposed to recieve a free month of service for each person after
they have been with them for three months. I have gotten bullshit excuses and runarounds when I have inquired about this.

I am now looking into DSL. ATT's customer dis-service has cost them my business and I will make sure that I inform anyone that will listen about how poorly they take care of their customers. Their service is slow now compaired to the way it used to be and they have outages everyday all over the country that usually last weeks. It's not worth the money.

Thanks to Wodin for the URL for the Public Service Commision to file a complaint. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the FCC.

I'm fricken enraged at AT&T and I'm normally a pretty low key person. I moved out of an apartment and canceld all my services with them (phone, internet, and cable). Then I started getting things saying I owed them $97, which isn't all that much money, but it is a lot since it wasn't what I owed them - I owed them nothing. I called them up each time I received a bill (received about 5 of them) and each time they'd look at the database and say "oh yeah, we made a mistake - we actually ow you $14" - the $14 never caem - but I didn't care, at least I wasn't showing I owed them money.
Then I got a letter from a collection agency and they said they were looking for the $97. I wanted to kill somebody - this is now going to effect my credit over only fucking $97.
So I called up AT&T and the person fully admitted it was their fault and that to "solve" it they were "only" going to make me pay $18.
It pisses me off so fricken much since I shouldn't have to pay them anything and it was a waste of lots of my time.
I still haven't received a bill form them - and once I do I'm going to pay it and then file every complaint I can and write to the CEO.
I would boycott them, but they are the only cable I can get in my building and I'm not allowed to get digital satellite.

Go and find a phone box that ATT owns for switching and shoot it with a deer slug just to fuck them up, then others who use there service may just change service providers. I
absolutely hate ATT. I went to them for ISP
and there email would not work, I called them
and they had me check all my setup and it was fine. Later they told me it was a server
here in the NW that was the problem, but they would not credit me for 5 months of no
email service. FUCK ATT, I would not buy any
of there stock EVER. Tell others to do the same.

Guys you get screwed over by any phone, electric, gas, water company - they are all considered utilities and have to comply to a given set of state rules and regulations that are codified in your state.

Contact the State Public Service Commission or Utilties Commission / Board and file a complaint. This makes license renewel more costly for the utility and these dollars are not recoverable by the company. In other words the company cannot pass the buck to the consumer the buck gets passed to the stock holder.

Wodin rules. He gave me a URL to complain to yesterday and my service was on before I got up and I had apology emails waiting from At&T. They told me it wouldn't be back up until Sun or Mon.
