I hate to stereotype anything but from what I have seen from gay men on this board... Why are many gay guys such sluts, "circuit parties" "daisy chains" etc. etc. I have read many posts bragging about how so and so has had 4 somes+ and are proud about fucking people they don't know. Seriously do you guys respect your bodies, do you respect who ever your with at the time. the only thing I can fathom is as JohnnyO once said: "we separate love from sex" that's fine and dandy but what is the interest in even attending some of these "events" enlighten me. ------------------     | ||

Now from the gay men that I do know who are on this board, what you have described Valdez is not at all in their character. But what I see are people searching for love and searching for that one person to spend their lives with. There are perverts among us, yes, both genders and persuasions included. I know of some straight men on this board who also participate in orgies with their wives present. Not what I would call good character. ive went to a gay bar with a buddy... and i think that MOST guys want to get laid each time they go out... now, if you have 2 guys together, and BOTH are pretty typical, then obviously their is going to be some poop smearing on dicks... multiply this scenario out... say you have 200 guys all interested in guys... i'd say a HIGH percantage are going home with one another, why not just take that other couple too? i dont agree with it... i dont do stuff like that (with women or men), sex means something to me... every time... i like knowing the person i am with is my world, especially when she is... sometimes we just dont say it enough, sometimes we love someone so much that we just take it for granted that they know... sometimes we hurt that person and feel so bad for it... sometimes it makes us very sick to know we caused someone elses hurt... sometimes "i'm sorry" isnt enough but their is nothing more i can say.... sorry folks, i rambled... | ||

pondering gay sex practices at 3am? hmm..? ok, i'm in a relationship.. we've been together a long time, but we like to cruise the bars and pick up a 3rd, and there was once we've picked up another couple. it's probably easier since i find guys are more open about what they want out of a relationship, even if it's just meaningless sex. and children are never ever an issue no matter what you do, so it's not like being a slut is going to have any long term effects for anyone involved (unless you don't practice safer sex). i would like to be in an orgy of sorts, but i've never been in one. | ||

Valdez - You know a lot more than I do. I still haven't the foggiest, or is it the faggiest, idea what a daisy chain is. Also, circuit parties have nothing to do with sex. Have you ever been to one? If not, you should. They're our biggest recruiting tool. As for orgies and the like, yeah, I've been to them. Should I feel bad about that? No. I'm single. People that live by this rule of thumb are the same one's who are insecure and need the games to make themselves feel better. When your young the only thing that really matters is sex sex and more sex. No conditions, no conversation, just wam bam thank you ( insert preference here) as you grow older things change very quickly and NEW younger folks come out and you find yourself looking for that special someone you'll "never find". Fact is gay men do have real life's with 1 partner but this does not get spoken about. Gaymen are able to have 1 on 1 relationships but agian its not spoken of. These same one's don't go to bars, have many friends, and seek relationships based on trust, love, and mutual respect. now one can truly only give that when they love themselves. To brag about who ya had last night, how many,, what ya did, gay or straight is to say this is all I am good at and I have don't feel good about myself deep inside so lets "brag" about something that does make me feel good even for a minute. This is not a gay or staright thing it's a young and insecure thing and maybe in some cases an old an insecure thing. It's one choice to live this type of lifestyle with many partners again gay oo straight but not everyone lives it so that tells ya something. just my two cents. Thanks | ||

flexed1 said it best. in the military, (unrelated but still relevant) we had a phrase, "its always the 10% that will f#$^ it up for all of us". this phrase holds true to a degree, not that anyone in this conversation is f$#%ing it up for anyone but rather gaining more attention. this attention causes a generalization that can lead to stereotyping. straight men that have random irresponsible and anonymous sex give the reputation of "dogs" to all men by scorn women. gay men that speak of gratuitous sexual encounters frequently, can give others impressions of the whole community. women who sleep around...the same. so on and so forth. people should be looked at as individuals regardless of their persuasion because in actuality, "the 10%" are in the spotlight, and everyone else may be completely normal relationshipwise. oh shit, i wrote a book....sorry. ------------------ | ||

I am not gay, but as a straight guy I admit if I was single and I met some broad at the bar and she was hot, and had a couple hot friends, I would definatley go home with all 3 of them and do some serious waxing.
