Would you kill Hitler? keep in mind- well for the sake of arguing ASSUME- that his goons would probably take you out soon afterwards and you'd go down in history as the Lee Harvey Oswald of Germany. also keep in mind that if you had such an opportunity and you did not take advantage you would have to live the rest of your life knowing you could have saved millions of lives.     | ||

Speaking purely morally...No, I would not because it would make me as bad as him. Also, the US would not have become world hegemon...and that's a fact (relatively speaking). | ||

Jeezz...thats a tough one. If it was one of my family members in Auschwitz, I'd prolly unhesitatingly say "yes kill the racist bastard"...however, I am a Fatalist and believe EVERYTHING happens for a reason...It certainly would have saved all those poor people, but what other price would be eventually paid? Because down the line, it would be something else....and someone else. I would prefer to hope that those people did not die in vain, and that it is our responsibility to ensure it never happens again. My BF's fathers family are German....believe me, it aint over....sometimes it makes me sick to be around them. | ||

wasn't WW2 indirectly caused by WW1? because germany got such a shit deal in the versailles treaty, a crazy man like hitler got to power on the backs of the social deprivation of his people. I would try and sort out the three leaders at versailles, Britain's, France's and the U.S.'s. | ||
