I'm in Chandler, which is a suburb of Phoenix. It's pretty cool. The state is amazing in terms of the geography. You've got the deserts in the south, the mountains in the east and north, the Grand Canyon and the city of Phoenix. I don't like how big Phoenix is (I think over half the population of the state is there), but the desert is really beautiful. There are some great bars and clubs, a good sports scene (except for the Cards), and great hiking trails in Phoenix and the rest of the state. My favorite place is probably the red rocks of Sedona, the Oak Creek Canyon just north, and the city of Flagstaff dwarfed by the prominent San Francisco peaks. Are you thinking of moving here? Oh yeah, I forgot, that you're only 4 and a half hours from Vegas by car. | ||

I just came home from Phoenix on vacation. I was very impressed, went to bankone ballpark. Went to a few clubs in the area Club Rio and The Insomnia(sp). They were both crazy ass hell. Went to a few downtown bars after the football game. Cooperstown and a couple others I cant remember. Phoenix seemed like a real nice clean city. Stayed with some friends in Peoria I think was the name of the suburb. ------------------ | ||

Live here. Been here since 74'. Just finally moved back after 5 years of running around. Wouldn't live anywhere else. I live in north Phx and work in Mesa. | ||

I've been out in AZ for a while now. Moved from Wisconsin in 1990. Currently live in Tempe; just graduated from ASU a few weeks ago. Iowa Beef: next time you're in town, I recommend hitting Radius and Sanctuary, they're two of the better clubs in the valley. | ||

The ugliest woman in Phoenix makes the prettiest woman anywhere else in the world look ugly hands down. If you are married or have a girlfriend, you will be hard pressed to stay faithful. When they wear their bikinnis (skimpiest on the market) at the lake or parks you can't help but stare. Oh, they make the testosterone flow. You should see my insurance agent! She also lives just two houses down the street from me. Email me if you are thinking of coming down, I can hook you up. |
