Ok, I cannot bust a nut ever since I started this paxil. I thought it was because I was coming off my cycle, but ive been using a shitload of clomid and my nuts are fine. I can still get erections, but I cant cum. Anyone else having this problem?    | ||

I've been on Prozac. I was able to bust on it. The urge to have sex overall just wasn't as great as when I wasn't on anything. Erection lasted a lot longer while I was on it -- kinda like (what I've heard about) viagra. I'm still on it, but tapering off now... | ||

Hey I was on effexor a anti-depression med, and I had a problem getting my nut, but it took a long time to do it. A lot of anti-depressants cause this side effect. Try tapering off and if you to depressed, get off it. I don't like anti-depressants but we all get the blues once in a while. Mine seems to be related to shitty weather, which in the NW, is common. My Dr. say alot of patients have the same problem here with the weather and such. I hope you can get off the paxil. Good luck. | ||

It was for me too, exept for the "dick effects". I'm on wellbutrin now and it is working just as well as the Paxil without the side effects. | ||

Sus - It does cause some weight lose, but nothing severe. Probably in the 5 - 6 pound range tops. It's just water weight too. ------------------ | ||

Any of the SRI's, even serzone, will cause a big drop in sex drive. Terrible story...but might as well tell it (it is so fucked up I have trouble believing it myself): my father is a respected Psychiatrist. Before I went to college he said that the slight gap between my test scores (I got 99th percentile on everything) and my 3.1 GPA was because I must have suffered slight brain damage doing martial arts and playing soccer. To "correct" this he put me on a variety of SRIs. This resulted in yours truly having ZERO sex drive for three years of college. This was quite frustrating since my buff latin self was getting alot of attention from girls which I would have given my left nad to fuck, yet nothing was reacting downstairs. While my father was constantly assuring me that the meds were necessary to treat my "condition" and that they did not cause side effects, I finally got fed up last year and went to a shrink for evaluation. Turns out I don't, and never did, have any sort of "brain damage" and that I was being given three times the normal dose of various SRIs (zoloft, prozac, serzone). I'd even been on double doses of ADHD meds, even though I don't have that. Moral of the story folks is to stick to steroids and recreational drugs. They are much safer | ||

I took paxil myself, took me forever to bust a nut. And mastetbating.... forget it. I'd have to switch hands because my forearms were getting tired. Maybe porno stars use paxil. Anyway, go with prozac, it worked wonders for me. | ||

it happened to me in the past!!! just cut the carbs a little bit..should be fine.the paxil increase the serotonin so is carbs.may sound funny but it did work for me!!(i found that one out by mistake..i was starting keto diet) | ||

Paxil is a good drug, wait it out and stay on it if it is working for you. If you take just the 20mg a day there shouldnt be many problems. Any more and there will be much more side effects. I have experienced delayed ejaculation and and decreased sex drive, which waxes and wanes, but I can always cum. It might be the combo of all the drugs. Wait and see. |
