Nothing like a snowstorm and a cancelled flight to change your new year's plans huh? Yeah the eagles looked good. We'll see what they have against big blue.....since I am a Giants fan, I thought little of the eagles (we beat them twice). However, I now realize that NY must be prepared and play an excellent game to win. The Eagles are legit. The Rams..well - they are WAY WAY WAY WAY better than the Saints...they just forgot to play that way. If I were the GM or team president I would have a no-bullshit meeting with the coaching staff.....Vermeil leaves and now they are comparable mediocre...the Rams made stupid mistakes...bad tackling, no pressure on the QB - all that talent and they shit up the Superdome. Giants over Eagles (close...4 points) AFC....a little tougher.....Raiders over the fish by 9, and Titans over Baltimore by 6. Close ones all around. | ||

Dude, I wouldn't get your nads too pumped if I were you. If it weren't for the Redskins sucking so bad this year, the Bucs would have the distinction as being THE MOST overrated team in the NFL this year! I mean, those fucks were lucky to even make the playoffs with that shitty O they have & people were picking them to go to the SB! Gimme a break! You need an OFFENSE to win in this league & there are NOT that many teams in the playoffs with that great of one! The exeption being the Raiders & Vikes, who are looking better & better as SB contenders. Anyhoo, the Eagles have 1 player on O(Mcnabb of course)& that wont take them to the SB. Look for a big NY Football Giants win next week. | ||

If the Vikings get back in Groove and play well next week and win, accompanied by Philly beating the Giants, I believe the Vikes will be in the Superbowl, however I do not think we can win on the road anywhere | ||

you are the same people who didnt give the eagles a chance vs. tampa.... now of course, you are not giving them a chance vs. the gmen... well ya know what... no matter what happens, this has been a fantastic season for the eagles, picked by most to finish very poorly (except me, i nailed them at 11-5,) and to "E"... the game WAS NOT IN TAMPA because the eagles performed better through the year, so spare me the "ifs ands and buts" because the bucs were outplayed in every aspect of the game, no matter if it were in hell or philly, the eagles would have beat them with the way the teams played.

im not giving any ifs and butts. The eagles did win. The eagles DID earn the homefield advantage in the regular season. I cant help but think that IF the game had been in tampa they would have played a much better game and beaten the crap outta the eagles. In that game, they played like a second rate team that shouldnt have even been in the playoffs. That has been the bucs problem this year... no consistancy. Now if they had played like they did against the rams then that would have been a completely different story. E | ||

Eagles,Giants it doesn't matter. The Vikings will beat up on NO, and then beat who ever wins that crappy matchup. All the power is in the AFC anyways so you should be happy to have your teams will be knocked out so that they won't have to face the Raiders. | ||

Giants suck. I've watched every game. They usually beat the Eagles, but they dont have the skills needed to beat the Vikings. Everyone forgets that the majority of teams the Giants won against had losing records. The one good game I thought they played was the second game against the Redskins. Remember the first game when they got blown away? The second one was even close. And the Redskins suck too. | ||

Hate to say it but the Eagles played a great game yesterday. They have a good shot at going to the Superbowl. Giants are solid but nothing spectacular and are not capable of making a comeback if they fall behind by 2 TD's as witnessed by Saint Louis and Redskins completely bitch smacking the Giants AT HOME earlier this season, but I'm sure most Giants fans have forgotten about that. The Giants do however, have a week off to rest which may be an advantage. Either way, it's a moot point because the Ravens are going to kill any team they play in the superbowl.
