Well here I am at home cooped up since this morning, watching TV and surfing the Net. The weatherpeople in this area understated the amount of the white stuff that was going to fall here. They said 12 to 16 inches- My area got 25. I'll wait until tomorrow and well warmed up to go out with the shovel to dig my car up. All I can see of it is the antenna.     | ||

Yup...gotta agree on the wrong forcast, looks more like 25 inches or more  The Hubby is might upset cause the gym was closed Isn't it funny how we want a white Christmas and all but then when it does snow we all want it to STOP We actually went out and shoveled this afternoon..I guess we thought it wouldn't snow anymore....WHAT a dumb idea that was  | ||

Yea NJ got a foot...I got suckered into staying at work. So they rented me a SUV and got me a hotel for the weekend. I just saw on the weather that Boston got lucky. They got only 8 inches. It seems the conditions were just right in the NJ/NY area. | ||

In California: High today 63 did yardwork in shorts and tee shirt. Lows around 37. Tomorrow: 10K midnight run and on the 1st- 50 mile bike ride. Gotta love the weather! ------------------ | ||

Well I went to the exit in the city friday night.We stepped out of the club at 7:30 sat. morning and there was at least six inches on the ground. My friend was driving his car which was rear wheel drive and no power steering so we ended up flying over a curb got stuck. Waited a an hour to get pulled out. Ended up having to stay at his aunts house in jersey for about eight hours then caught a ride home from a family friend and it took another two hours to get back to woodbury N.Y. So what is normally a 40 min drive took 12 hours to get home. I hate the snow!!!!!!!!! | ||

Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. You guys think being snowed in sucks? Try four kids x's, mittens, snowsuits, snowboots, headbands (hats are too uncool for little girls) for them to go out for a grand total of 15 minutes (if I get lucky, that is). Then when they are frozen to death (my girls are suuuuuuuuch wimps) they track snow and crap ALL OVER the house, not to mention having to wash the snowsuits, snowpants, jackets, mittens and headbands in addition to my yearly new year's eve tradition of 50 or so loads of laundry. Yes, THE SNOW FUCKING BLOWS CHUNKS!! Is Christmas break over yet?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! BAAAAAAAAAAM!!!! *sound of my head exploding* ------------------ | ||

Bikinimom...you are right on!! That's exactly what I go through except for I only have one. She's only five so you can tell how much fun we have outside. After the 1/2 hr dress up routine we go outside b/c she wants to have a snowball fight Oh and the rules are..you can't hit her with one yah right!! fair is fair in the game of snow ball fighting.hehehe So in other worlds we stay outside for a grand 5 to 10 minutes and then it's whinning time to go back in the house to only get an ear fool of how cold she is..wimper wimper. I HAVE THIS DAMN SNOW!! Let it melt.... |
