I'm not talking in the biblical sense (although thats fine too)...just wondering how many of you have a friend thats a midget. I've never in my short lived life personally known a midget. How much of the popluation do they represent? ------------------ My father was a relentlessly selfimproving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts for being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we�d make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum...it�s breathtaking. I suggest you try it.     | ||

Juju the midget and I had a great realtionship for a while touring the midget toss circut. I had a dead aim and he could fly like the wind. Sadly though, Juju fell in love with a small miniture Llama named bernise and our touring days were over. Yeah I know a few midgets. ------------------ | ||

I don't know a midget but I there is a member at my gym who is a dwarf. She's a heck of a nice lady and works really hard. I respect her for trying so hard to improve her physique. She has a son who has inherited her dwarfism. It must be tough for him. ------------------ | ||

Dwafts are quite interesting.....certain body attributes of "normal" size. Can dwafism occur to internal organs in dwarfs as well? | ||

A midget while small in stature is proportionally small, kind of like a "mini-adult". A dwarf has certain body parts that are out of proportion and that is why they are shorter than the average fully grown adult ie head and torso are in proportion, but legs are VERY SHORT. ------------------ | ||

Midget-every aspect of their body is minature Dwaft-has some small midget like body aspects and some larger "normal" size body aspects (e.i. normal size hands, but tiny body) | ||

2 inches shorter and Id be dwarf..and my legs are stumpier than the rest of me...sitting down I look normal height..when i stand up the runtiness is quite obvious. Hence, the reason why I never wear skirts and if I ever do post a pic there will be NO leg shots! | ||

Yeah baby...hate wearing heels though..Im a Doc Martins girl! No point anyway..even if I wear 3 inch heels it would make me a whopping 5'2"...I accept the fact that I am a runt...I'm very good at jumping up on the stove and counters to clamber up to reach things. | ||

Funnily enough, I've gained half a shoe size...5 1/2 . My foot guy says its because my flat feet are lengthening because I was a bad girl and didnt get new supports when I was supposed to...I'm really a 5 1/4 but they dont come in that size, and I wear really big socks, so 5 1/2 it is! In boys shoe Im a 4. | ||

see there are advantages to being petite....your shoe selection must be great...I'm a size 8...and that seems to be the most shopped shoe size so they always get sold out!!...life is so cruel at times  | ||

My bad... Dwarfism, in medicine, condition of being undersized, or less than 127 cm (50 in) in height. Some dwarfs have been less than 64 cm (24 in) tall when fully grown. The term midget is usually applied to physically well-proportioned dwarfs. The term pygmy is applied to people whose shortness of stature is a racial trait and not caused by disease. I haven't met a midget, dwart, or pigmy | ||
