My parents got me a 1 year membership to Bally's for X-mas.The place is not all that bad since they have alot of Hammer strength equiptment.Plus they have alot of other stuff like steam rooms,pool,sauna & indoor track.The weekend hours are awesome since they are open til 8 pm.Anyone else here work out at Ballys? Things I dont like about Ballys Rubber coated plates & dumbells The atmosphere Too many pretty boy wanna be types Im sure I'll be able to come up with more after I start working out there regularly. Dude, Bally's sucks -- used to work in one when I was in college. Throw the headphones on and crank the music. I would also advise going at an odd hour -- place will be packed with a lot of people who are there to be seen, pick up women, and get in your way. ------------------ | ||

I've been there, and let me tell you it's not like they make it look on TV. The commercials portray balleys as a techno dance club type environment with tons of hotties wearing next to nothing with fantastic bodies. Boy was I dissapointed. I walked in expecting that in 5 minutes I would have to go to the bathroom and pleasure myself because of all the hot chicks that I thought would be there. It wasn't full of hotties and there were lots of dorks there, but like the man said it's free and you can't beat that. | ||

If you have a golds or worlds or powerhouse in the area, fuck the membership and chalk it up as a lost. Go where the big boys train, you will learn alot more! |
