The Early 90's defense of Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Clyde simmons, Andy HArmon, Seth Joyner, Byron Evans, William Thomas, Eric Allen, Andre waters, Wes Hopkins, And Ben Smith was the best I've seen, along with the 85 Bears. Cunningham usually got hurt and they had no running game and always choked in the playoffs though. | ||

well, lets see... the year they were being compared to the steel curtain and purple people eaters they finished 10-6 with a slew of qb's, including mcmahon and the old jets qb... they didnt even make it.. that was the year the niners were on fire too but didnt make it at 10-6 either... some lucky teams made it and were happy to not play the two best teams in the league... randall did get hurt the 2 years and that cost them big time... remember the jets game when they cheered him getting his leg broke then eric allen returned a pic to win the game and gave randall the ball?? fuckin awesome!!!!!!! this gang green is different, no superstars now, just a pure pack mentality... carlos emmons is a superb outside backer, and trotter is just a fuckin man in the middle. the corners rock (taylor scares me sometimes) and ball hawk b dawk is the best safety in football!!! when i think of the old eagles, i get sad... they were that good... best defense ever!!!!!!!!! (ravens played the browns and bengals twice, that record is shit) | ||

You want to come with that crap. Ron Jawarski(SP). He is only player philly ever that would even be allowed to play on a Cowboys team. As for that guy that played D-fence and talked about god, well he left as soon as it was possible. Buddy Ryan? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! How many Superbowl win? Division win??? They suck and will always suck. 2 Staley(22) is a flash. Cowboys will be back in 2002 to rule the league again. You might want to get on the 76ers wagon also. | ||

the best thing the cowfuckers could do is draft a michael vick like qb... why? aikman can teach him a lot in the typical drop back fashion... randall could teach him a lot about improv and the art of a mobile qb... that would be a scarey ass pupil when all is said and done... however, as was said before, the cowfucks must do as j.jones says... and that man is the reason they are where they are... and he IS NOT the reason they were where they were. | ||

Sorry to break up the discussion board of brotherly love, but it's not looking good for the dirty birds this weekend. Yeah they have a good defense, and Donovan McNabb is the Man, but who else do they have on offense? They have no running game except for McNAbb. Name a starting WR they have? Does Chris T. Jones still play for the Eagles? Don't get me wrong, they have a good shot, but the Bucs are pretty strong. I know Tampa has that trend where they can't win when it's cold out. But it's got to end sometime. Why not this weekend? Oh yeah, the Giants and the Vikings will lose their first games they play in two weeks, making the NFC Championship game a rematch of the Rams and the Bucs. | ||

Yo gang-mad-green-bomber! Why are you an Eagles fan? You originally from Philly? Bucs by 6 this weekend. Philly is on a downturn, they barley beat Cincy. Dallas does need to retool and let Troy go. Make him a qb coach or something. I think Smith has at least 2 solid 1,000 rushing seasons left in him because he is close to the all time rushing record. Jones needs to get out of the football operations and fire his dick headed non-talent evaluating son from the front office. ------------------ | ||

The Eagles have won one NFL Championship before the Merger of the AFL and NFL. Further They are the ONLY team in NFL history to lose the superbowl to a wild card team. 1980 - Eagles Vs. Raiders. Wouldn't it be cool if the Raiders did it again 20 years later! ------------------ | ||

I hear you Gang Green. As good as Donovan McNabb is, and as good as he will be, he'll be hard pressed to get much done against the Bucs. It's going to be a fucked up, low scoring game, with some wierd play that decides it. Hopefully the outcome won't be the same as the memorable "Fog Bowl." | ||

i HATE the fogbowl... wodin, long story short... 1980-my mom and i lived with her fiancee and his son, he was older then i. he beat on me when he felt like it. he was... a cowboy fan from dallas!!!!!
i dont think this game is easy at all, infact, i think if the bucs win, they will be superbowl bound, maybe... them or the vikings... but if the bucs win, and the saints win, then the bucs play the giants... but if the rams win the bucs eagles winner plays the vikings (not happy bout htat) | ||

wow, a rational eagles fan, this is a first. Personal opinion, the contenders in the NFC are playing this weekend. The pretenders have the week off (Minn and NYG). Whatever happens to the eagles, at least they're in the playoffs. I root for the sorry ass Redskins. Let the flaming begin..... | ||
