Goddamn that movie was good!!

That's my type of movie.

Spacey was great, Freeman was great and Pitt could've been better. I haven't been that shocked by an ending ever- not even Sixth Sense- damn.

That and Fight Club are two of the greatest movies in my opinion. And the head in the box was really unexpected.

Whoa - I just got done watching it. I already had the old DVD version and then I just got myself the new collector's edition and watched it again this evening with the overdub of the director and actors adding their commentary. I'm a big Fincher fan (well, not so much the aliens one he did, but other than that).
Great movie, love it.

The movie was alright. I thought it was somewhat predictable towards the end. It did make you think however, for a good bit of the movie.

The best scene was the dude who sat up in the bed and scared the piss out of the cops! Even startled me and I was expecting something like that to happen.

that is an amazing piece of film.
there was nothing predictable about the ending.fincher is great in making cutting edge films like that.if you notice my handle youd know im a huge fincher fan....i got it all on dvd except alien3 it was a good looking film but story sucked.
by the way i just saw primary colors and gilbert grape those two movies were amazing, who knew dicaprio can actually act.

Was the ending supposed to be ironic since he claimed he only killed people that are not innocent ?

Or did he believe they were not innocent ?

If you watch closely there is a cameo by Roland Kickinger. He is the guy working the office window at the sex motel.

I love the Paradise Lost series.

I too feel bad for that area of the state where they are from- and I do believe those kids are innocent. The stepdad had to have done it.

It was so obvious that it was his wifes head in the box. I figured it out that he was being set up back when the guy turned himself in at the police station and wanted to show them where the last body was.

Now don't get me wrong the movie was great and I have seen it more than once, but it used basic criminal behavior (for a serial killer that has a message to deliver) as the supporting theme.

It might be that being a Sheriff's Deputy takes away from the intended reactions and plot.

OK, just saw Fight Club.

Another good one.

I would've never thought that..ahh, I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it.

What else did Fincher direct?
