I have always thought the same way about things with my family when i moved back from FL, & I left on bad terms with them all, but really when it comes down to it ~ FAMILY always comes FIRST!! You are her flesh & blood she won't just throw you out. Just haVE RESPECT FOR YOUR MOM & HER BF, DONT BE ONLINE SO MUCH, & DO WHATEVER TO MAKE HER SEE THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST MAKING AN EFFORT TO FIND A JOB, & SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE. AND LET HER KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THINGS "BAD" BETWEEN HER & THE BF. BUT IF HE DOES NOT LIVE THERE THEN HE REALLY HAS NO SAY SO IN WHO SHE WANTS TO LIVE IN HER HOUSE! MEANING EVEN THE DOG!
YOU HAVE TO TALK TO HER ABOUT ALL OF THIS BELIEVE ME, IF NOT THEN YOU WILL KEEP FEELING LIKE YOU ARE A PROBLEM FOR HER, STAYING THERE, WHEN REALLY YOU AREN'T.

COMMUNICATE WITH HER! THAT IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO! P.S. HER BF MAY BE A BIT JEALOUS NOW THAT YOU ARE HERE, HE MAY FEEL NOW THAT HE DOESNT HAVE ALL OF HER ATTENTION LIKE HE DID BEFORE, SO HE IS ACTING THIS WAY. JUST MAKE THE BEST OF IT UNTIL YOU CAN GET OUT ON YOUR OWN A AGAIN!! GOOD LUCK!

Maybe your mom's bf sees you as a threat - I mean you're like what, 27? Pretty big guy, and your mother's son...so he may feel that he is competing with you for her time and attention. So that may be a cause for discord....and the "dog issue" is his way of trying to make her choose him over you...and get her to ask you to unload the dog.

Short term advice: Stand your ground on the Net and the dog. Don't take his crap. I'm glad my parents are together, but if (God forbid) someting happened and my Mom was seeing another guy....that dude would have to EARN my respect - I don't know your relationship with the bf, but don't let him use your Mom against you.

Mid term advice: save up as much money as you can. Get your own place if possible. But don't rush. Do it when you're ready.

Long term advice: Get back togther with your girl.

get this shit... last night i go to get a job at a bar, to work security... well, he MUST have told her that it wasnt safe, cuz before that she knew my plan... (get a few jobs, work and save cash), and then she busts out with this "people dont fight anymore they shoot"... so i held back for a while, said i was going for a drive with the puppy (didnt want to leave her here) and went to apply... (bad story itself, little fuckin bouncer sized me up, i didnt like that) anyway, when i get back he was gone and she started again... so i told her my plan of applying for detroit police dept. she had a fit, i told her she had no choice... kept going and going on me so i told her to let me work at ford, she wants "better" for me... ya, 60k a year sucks... so back to detroit pd, or fire dept. we will see... the casino's are a possibility but they are no longer hiring dealers (i turned that down last summer, bad move)....
