Today was supposed to be leg day. Since I failed the fucking road exam yesterday I did not get my liscense so i'm stuck with having my mom with me while I drive. Anyway, I'm not really feeling energetic enough to workout but I go ahead with it thinking I will feel better at the gym. Today I was supposed to add reps to my squat. I was supposed to do 2 sets of 8 reps with 185 lbs. I did the first set and becuase of my worn out running shoes that I wear to the gym (getting new ones soon) I couldnt keep my balance on the squat and I failed to bring it up on the sixth rep. I was so tired that I couldnt hardly do the next set, I belive I did 5 reps on the next one. This sucks so bad because I am just now getting strong with squatting and I turn around and do shit like this. I am wanting to increase my squat weight and if i keep on doing this stuff I never will. For the remainder of the time I just went up to the cardio area and read a magazine, sometimes when I go in the gym I feel so out of engery. Tomorrow I do back, shoulder, and hams so maybe I'll do some squats too. I just felt like complaining a little. I am going to start wearing a different pair of shoes to the gym so maybe that will help, they have more ankle support as opposed those new balance 803's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
