Monday I ordered everyone in my family gifts from Spiegel online.. spent about $900 total for about 15 different gifts. Requested 2 day express delivery, and charged it on my Spiegel card (one of the few cards I still have). No delivery happends.. hmm.. so I call them. What? they don't have an order.. well I have a confirmation number and everything printed out from the web page.. where is my ORDER! Turns out if you don't use your card for 6 months they cancel it. Gee, the only time I EVER use Spiegel is Christmas. And even though the web interface allows me to order (I still can create orders with the card), and get shipping confimration numbers over the web, the orders get canceled after the fact and NO ONE notifies you that they canceled the order. You just sit around expecting orders that never come. So here it is.. Fri.. no gifts. I'm going to have to shop the old fashion way. Please for the love of GOD NEVER SHOP SPIEGEL EVER AGAIN!!!! I'm going to make it my personal cruisade to put the fuckers out of business.     | ||

Oh, my God! This is a travesty...I loved (keyword--loved) Speigal. Just for that I won't shop there anymore---we have to stick together on this. They have sent me the wrong sizes before--shit they are a little overpriced anyway. | ||

www.spiegelsucks.com is an available domain name.. i'm so tempted to get it and put a scathing web page out there, then advertise it. anyway.. after running around all day all the shopping is done, and i spent less than spiegel's overpriced ass. | ||

He he JohnnyO, I received a The Ultimate Outlet Speigel clearance catalog in the mail today. Everything is like 30-70% off. But you got to figure that 40% off is more like what the actual cost is. They are trying to sell Star Wars stuff in the kids domestics section....kids don't want that so yesterday stuff--even at 40% off. Grass roots campaign--that's where it all starts. | ||
