Insomnia is all over me, I toss and turn for hours every night, will a valium help me sleep? Will it effect my cycle?

Valium will put you to sleep. 10mg knocks me out. You might want to try melatonin first. (6mg) It's much safer than valium.

10mg will make you sleep like a baby..just don't take it for more then a week straight or your body will be become dependent on it..and you will go through serious withdrawl when you stop..it's not fun trust me

Go ahead and take the ten mg to sleep but don't expect to feel as rested as you normally would on the same amount of hours. Valium leaves you groggy in the morning as a result of being a long acting benzodiazepine and so some of it's metabolites can remain active for about 48hrs. This is usually apparent if it is taken for consecutive days rather than just once every long while like most rec users start. It is addictive so be careful. Xanax might be a better choice as it is a benzodiazepine which has a much quicker half life than valium. Less grogginess since it clears the system.

Valium is not for sleeping. If your suffering from insomnia valium is the wrong way to go, and like some others have said you'll feel groggy the next day. Most people take valium to relax or calm down, but if you can't sleep try reading a book, or maybe some green tea.

Taking the Big V is not the answer you would be better off drinking a 12 pack and you would feel better in the morning. Try some extra cardio or good old fashioned hard work. That wil help you sleep.

Valium is very addictive. One of my clos friends who also posts on this board can tell you he started with one a night and the affects weakened so he kept upping the dosage until he was taking close to sixty a night.I also heard that valium can eat at muscle tissue?

Do not use valium to sleep. Ask your doc for a specific sleeping medication. Don't fuck with V...it is a powerful synthetic narcotic..very addictive. It's supposed to be used for moderate to severe pain....not sleep!

Valium can put you out but hey it may not be the best choice cause other things can. I take a 500 MG vicodin sometimes when i cant sleep. Try melatonin.
