I'm in the middle of my first real cycle (tren/winny with drol as a kickstart in the beggining), and have gotten much stronger in basic power movements. The problem is that after a few sets I get such a pump that it becomes hard to perform alot of movements. When I squat or DL my low back, which has never been a problem, gets real pumped and makes performing the lift difficult. With any upperbody movement this happens with biceps and forearms. I was working my tris today and had trouble hitting a decent ROM when doing weighted dips because of the bicep pump that came out of nowhere. Are there any ways to work around this? I was thinking of dropping the reps on everything to under 6, or resting at least five minutes between each set. It is frustrating because I end up not being able to lift the heavy poundages that I am capable of.

I know what your saying, I've had to take more time between sets, I'll take up to 10-15 minutes. Of course I lift for strength first then size. But I've always made continuous progress this way. Added roughly 100lbs to my bench press in the last 2 1/2 yrs and adequate size gains. Adding 100 lbs in that time might not seem like much to some, but this is "permanent" strength, not "peaked". Meaning, you may add 35lbs to your bench your first cycle, but dont think every cycle you keep adding on to it, boy, that sure would be wonderful if it would. Let me see, I'd be benching about 700lbs. That was directed at those that havent been juicing long.

Just try to fight through it. You will still get the tears in the muscle but just not the great ROM.

I never knew working out on AS would be so much more painfull. I was literally crying during my last delt workout, and had to wait a half hour before I could drive home (no power steering). Guess I'll get used to it or learn to love the feeling of my muscles popping.

Hey, dont think all cycles are like that, I feel like I'm on cloud 9 when I'm on sus, but I do have aches and pains while on fina....and you've gotta be careful on it too, your strength increases are sometimes too much for you tendons and then comes real trouble......so you have to be smart about the poundages you increase by.

Lower your reps, I experience the same thing, but I cycle my sets and reps anyway so I'm constantly going at it from both ends, depending what week I'm on. When doing 4-8 reps I get a wicked pump but it does not interfere with my ROM like it does when I do 10-15 reps. Not much else u can do besides that. Have u ever seen the pros train? their ROM is pathetic most of the time, esp on leg presses, but as I learned today in fact I did 10-15 reps on presses, (after 3 sets of squats) and the legs just won't go all the way into my chest like they do when I'm unpumped. ------------------

You know what the funniest part about this is? I don't even bother to jerk off anymore because my arm gets too damned pumped.
