This is more of a general question...I don't compete and don't plan on competing but I've always wondered this.
What exactly do competitors do before a competition as far as pumping up goes? I'm sure they have some equipment backstage that everyone can use to get blood everywhere. Do people just do some sort of abbreviated full body workout? Are there people in the back hitting squats and benching before they head out on stage? I wouldn't assume people go out there completely cold.

good question. first you will se most of us with legs elevated. this keeps blood in the legs. i do not use weights just flex like hell all muscles to fill them up but not to much so I don't deflate on stage. backsatge some drink vodka or wine to warm up blood capularies and promote veins. i use hot stuff which warms the body and brings out veins as well as a heat lamp which does wonderful work. ever tan and come out of the sun filled with cuts and veins? same theory. hope this helps
