Yes, I never did, but in the 70's there was a craze called the liquid diet, lots of people lost weight on it and gained it all back. . .in the late 90's it was replaced with the same diet, just with protien based foods, called the Atkins diet. . .it works too, but its not healthy, it changes your blood ph and in the end you will go back to your old diet and gain the wieght back. Having a good complete diet and cardio is the only answer. . .protien shakes are only a supplement not an anwer.

kodiak thanks but im not taking protien shakes to loose weight im taking them to gain weight whats teh theory on gaining wieght using shakes?

Dude, as I think I mentioned on your other post, try it out. The way it sounds is that you don't have the time or ability to consume enough regular meals. All I will say is that in theory you should be OK, but let me put it this way: if it was the best thing to do, wouldn't all the pros be doing it? I have serious doubts as to whether all of those nutrients that they claim are in these shakes get absorbed into the system, but that's not based on anything. In terms of saving time, be prepared to be spending a heck of alot more time on the john with a diet like that. hehehe.
