I am in an off-cycle cutting mode right now and basically never use any kind of over-the-counter supplements anymore other than a decent protein powder and the occasional protein bar. I normally like to save my money for good food. A guy I normally trust said glutamine would be worthwhile here. I'm 6'2'' 250lbs. How much would be the right amount and is it worth my money?
Thanks.

I TAKE L-GLUTEAMINE AND I FEEL IT HELPS ME RECOVER FASTER AFTER HARD WORKOUTS. I TAKE ABOUT 15-20 GRAMS A DAY. 5 GRAMS BEFORE MORNING CARDIO, 5-10 GRAMS AFTER A WORKOUT AND 5 GRAMS BEFORE I GO TO BED. HOPE THIS HELPS

Id go with 10 grams anymore and its probably a waste of money. I assume you intake a lot of complet protein so remember your getting alot of glutamine there

I use 15-20g post workout, and the same before bed. From what I understand, it seems to be pretty beneficial.

Check out glutaminwe peptides form proteinfactory.com, they supposedly have a better absorption than plain l-glutamine. I've used and like them, taste like shit though....

I'd say take as much as you can afford. I never get sick while taking glutamine and my recovery is very quick. Probably somewhere between 15-40grams a day. Experiment and see what the lowest dosage you can use while still getting all the benefits is.
