I got a slight case of gyno from my last cycle. I guess my body's just real sensitive to it. I took 500mg Omnadren for 8 weeks, and 6 dbol/day for the first 5. It didn't show up until week 8. I was already taking clomid at 50mg eod, and in week 8 I started nolvadex. I thought I did everything right.
My question is for those of you that have had gyno surgery, did your insurance cover it? Did you tell your doc that it was from AS use? I've got some other questions too if anyone wants to email me. [email protected]
Thanks

If your doctor does the proper paperwork, your insurance will cover it. If he/she considers it cosmetic surgery, it will not be covered.

Mine was covered. Aetna paid for everything except the 5 dollar prescription for some pain killers.

My surgery was two hours, although I think most are a bit less. I also had to get a lymph node biopsy, so it took a wee bit longer.

I was benching two days later with some mild discomfort. Fully healed two weeks later.

My doctor told me it was most assuredly from AS use.

I'm in a battle with my HMO now about paying for this surgery. I've had gyno since I was 13 or 14, 12 years before I ever touched juice. My gyno is really sore but the bastard HMO accountants say it is cosmetic. I'm trying to find a surgeon that will convince them that it is medically necessary.

They took a pic of my gyno and determined it was cosmetic, so I had to tell them it hurt like hell and that I didnt care about what I looked like, which had to look like total bull cause there I am, 6'1 240lbs, tan and no doubt "into my body", telling the dr that I had it since puberty....if asked, always say you started noticing it around puberty.

Needless to say, I had to talk my health coverage into covering it, which they turned down once, so I appealed, and got interviewed by a lady over the phone, I kept referring to it as " a lump on my breast", no SHIT, and "painful..!!!, she felt so sympathetic, she covered me. I never once mentioned the word "gyno".

Surgery was quick, was benching a week later. Wasnt quite as sweet as it sounds, though.

Your best bet is to visit the Doc saying that you've had lumps in your breasts since puberty, and they are starting to hurt like hell. Say that it normally didn't bother you that much, but lately you've had some serious problems sleeping because of it.

Probally wise to avoid using the word gyno.

Also a question for some guys, are you honest about your AS use. I personally would lie, but would it turn up in their regular tests?

Cheers

The funniest damned thing happened to me. When I went to the Dr. about the gyno I had just started a cycle of Dbol. He decided to do a blood test to measure my testosterone level and the results came back showing my test levels were way low (despite being on Dbol for 7 days) Now they want to get my low test level problem solved before they do surgery so that the gyno won't come back. I really did get gyno naturally, I've had it since I was 13 or 14. Oh well, maybe they will prescribe some test for me now.

Aetna is my provider.
If you happen to live in the California Bay Area and want to know surgeon names and general practician, drop an e-mail.

Hey G-Man if you've got bumps forming now start the Nolvadex NOW. Don't wait until after your cycle. By then you may have hooters. Trust me, even a little bit of gyno sucks!

G-Man, sounds like the same thing that happened to me. I started taking nolvadex as soon as I noticed a lump, but unfortunately it didn't go away. Good Luck.

I am going to see a doc about my gyno soon. I had a slight case of it when I was going through puberty, but it went away. I think I'm just going to tell him/her that it never really went away and that it is starting to bother me because it hurts. I was thinking about blaming it on Andro in case he asks about AS. Any suggestions?

Just out of curiousity, where are these lumps located exactly. Is that the starting of gyno? I've always heard that your nipples begin to tingle/itch. I'm not sure if the tanning salon is doing it to me or not. The rest of my skin itches too. Is there a way I could feel myself to see if I'm developing it? Any Advice would be appreciated! thanks

Salty--- gyno causes your nipples to get sore and you may feel lumps under your nipples. I've never experienced itching from it. That is probably from tanning. But the second you feel tenderness in your nipples get some Nolvadex FAST!

How long does it take for the symptoms to go away I just took 20mg today. What should I expect to happen from here on?

B_funk Good luck at the docs office. Just curious how big of a lump are we talking about here? The size of a pea?

This is Code guys, password got screwed.

Anyway, here are some answers:
If you have lumps, no amount of novla will help.
If you have sore nips, novla will help.
Itchy nipples is another warning of the onset of gyno, take novla.
If removed entirely gyno will not return. It's just like lipsuction, the mass cannot grow back.

If you tell you doctor the following it will be covered by your insurance:

"I suddenly developed a painful lump around my breast. I can't sleep on my stomach anymore because the pressure is painful enough to keep me awake."

My doctor billed it as a biopsy to find out if it was a tumor.

Well, I went to the doc today. I told him that I had it when I was younger, and that it just came back in the last 6 months and that it hurts. He never asked about AS or anything, and I never mentioned the word "gyno." He said he didn't think it was gyno since I'm only 22, and that I should wait and it might go away in a couple years. I was like whoa, isn't there something that can be done to take care of them now. He eventually referred me to a surgeon for an evaluation on the 2nd. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
