Currently, I am using a 100% ion exchange whey (Isopure) and I really love the taste...and it's the only protein I've tried that doesn't give me bloats or the water shits. My question: Does cross flow microfiltration (CFM) taste the same or better than ion-exchange. I am talking about pure protein...not meal replacement shakes. I was looking at protein factory's website, and they cross-flow whey protein has a fluffy appearance vs. ion exchange which has a sand-like texture to it. I am inclined to switch to Cross-flow IF and only IF the taste is the same or better. Interestingly, Protein factory also says that their ion-exchange whey is the best tasting of the bunch. Anyone have any ideas? I know I'm a wuss, but taste and intestinal comfort are VERY important to me.

they have an FAQ, i read about the taste, you can add a flavor to it, im not sure if it is good but you won't get intestinal discomfort as I was told my others who are using it. I would get the CFM whey in vanilla and a casein for right before bed for slow absorbtion.

casein give me the shits big time. My intestine and digestive track is very sensitive. Anyone else wanna chime on the taste issue...CFM vs. Ion-Exchange?

well CFM is definitely the best quality and i like the taste fine. it's not the best in water, but in skim milk it's great.

Drop me a line at [email protected] I'll send you a free sample of cross-flow whey isolate. If you like it you can buy all you want. I need some references from guys like you. Thanks, Stew |
