I've told you Dexter, I will support you bid to become a Mod. In fact you may have my position if George gives you the Okay on it. However, as I stated earlier in a thread...I will delete any post, and or the entire thread itself, if it contains threats, whether real or hidden without hesitation. Directed toward Mods, or anyone else for that matter.....Peace!! It's a nice gesture, you giving up your mod status here on EF, but don't do this. Everyone wants you here on the board. Although it would be nice to have Huck as a mod (also Dex, don't want a debate here), even so, don't throw your mod status away. Why not let George handle it. We are used to you as a mod you know. Do you think you will be more powerful or something? I believe there are enough intelligent bros on this board that don't need to become moderators. I personally do not know...nor do I care. However, most who get the opportunity will find out...it is a gut wrenching, non paying, pride swallowing at times, answer tons of e-mails, and expected to know everything and answer every question type job. As a Mod, you're not allowed to have a personal life,and if you do and don't post much you find yourself under the members microscope, you must defend your integrity at all times, help to avoid scammers, seek answers for others and learn in the process, maintain a vigil on the board, and defend it from transgressors, then defend someones opinion of you and your personal life, All for what you may ask???? For the simple fact that you helped a Bro become a big dog, if just for a little while, the nice e-mails(though not many) from those who just say thanks....that's the shit Bro.... Dear Ranger: Regarding meeting George, may I kindly ask you to cast your mind back to the days of the "Las Vegas" discussions? (That was before a new crop of (non - participative) "moderators" apppeared. Was that not an invitation? Yes, when I am in New York, I intend to meet George and would appreciate it if he could clear his calendar for such a meeting. That simple. Well, at least I'm glad it wasn't the 70+ post thread you deleted. About mod being an onerous, dirty, self-sacrificing job for which one gets only emotional grief and has no time, BRING IT ON, BABY!
