There really are only two 1. progesterone induced gyno, but that's only a problem in doses exceeding 400mg/week as well we all know not to combine deca and finasteride. Anyone have anything to add? ------------------ [This message has been edited by E2 (edited December 23, 2000).]     | ||

Soft or absent errections occured in 27% of the test group, in a study spefically designed to determain deca affects on the male sex drive. Dr. Scott J. Mediate, "Effects of nandrolone decanoate on the male libido." 1994. Medical Economics listing number H7460-pq. The dosage was 300mgs/week. The study lasted for 10 weeks. I would call 27% a sizeable enough chunk of the population to cause concern enough to protect yourself. Sure, they didn't test everyone on the planet, but studies involving more than 100 people are normally pretty accurate. I would agree it's a sizeable chunk of people who experience NEGATIVE sexual side efects from Deca.I personally know 5 or 6 people who have,and that's just in my gym alone. Two of them,were my training partners,and they were only taking 200 mgs. a week.That's why I say DECA BLOWS.Seeing the anxiety these guys went through was horrendous.If you can't enjoy sex,what else is there. That's why I don't use Deca.Why risk it,even if there is a good chance I'll never see those side effects.I've used Deca in the past w/no problems.But,when it hits close to home,it leaves you a little concerned ------------------ | ||

E2, since i am overstressed lately, yes i am going to add something. Deca dick can happen with less then 400 mgr/week (talking if using Deca alone, not when stacked with Test). Also more then a few will have problems with this. I would say (and i am probably wrong) around 50 %, if taking 400 mgr/week. I wouldn't bet on it that gyno would only occur at doses OVER 400mgr/week. Thanks to this nice sides of Deca, i will never use it again. Besides EQ is cheaper and nowadays more concentrated, so less shots, also less sides. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||

Jeff you are right there are those who are much more prone to progesterone induced side effects, so yes there are those who may experience deca dick and progesterone induced gyno at much lower levels. ------------------ | ||

Does nandrolone have the ability to bind with progesterone receptors, or does it have to convert first? If yes what does it convert to before it binds with pr's (perhaps also dihydronanrolone??). ------------------ | ||
